At Doire Dress, we want your experience to be as smooth and hassle-free as possible!

HOW MUCH WILL MY DRESS COST?

The price of your dress is based on height, chest measurement, and stitch count, particularly for heavily embroidered garments. Please get in touch, and we can provide you with an estimate.

HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?

The non-refundable deposit is:

£300 for a solo dress

£150 for a waistcoat

£150 for a class costume

Please note that orders are not placed until the deposit is received.

WHEN SHOULD I GET IN TOUCH?

It’s never too early to contact our team about your order! We’re always happy to answer questions and offer guidance, especially if it’s your first time ordering a custom-made Irish dance dress.

Our team can also advise you on our special design consultation events in your area, as well as provide guidance on measurements and shipping schedules.

We are particularly busy before major qualifying competitions and international championship events. To secure your ideal shipping/completion date, we recommend booking at least six months in advance—especially for busy months like January, March, April, October, and November.

Shauna and the team at Doire Dress will always do their best to accommodate special orders within a short time frame, provided we have availability.

If you need a special order dress completed in less than six weeks, please get in touch as soon as possible!

I’M UNSURE ABOUT MY DESIGN—CAN YOU HELP?

Absolutely! Our experienced design team will guide you through the entire process.

We start with colour palettes that complement skin tones before developing a design folder to determine your likes and dislikes—helping to bring your vision to life.

Platinum Range – A fully custom, bespoke design, allowing you to express yourself uniquely.

Codie & Little Black Dress Range – A minimalist, elegant collection featuring exclusive crystal designs with no embroidery, no inserts, and no fuss.

Gents’ Range – Custom-fitted tailored jackets and waistcoats to ensure a striking stage presence.

DO YOU OFFER A RANGE FOR NOVICE DANCERS?

Yes! Shauna understands the costs involved in Irish dancing, which is why she relaunched the Gold Range in 2019 with brand-new designs.

The Gold Range offers an affordable yet high-quality tailor-made dress, allowing every dancer the opportunity to perform in a Doire Dress creation.

This range consists of a set collection of styles, with the flexibility to customize your look using a variety of colours and fabrics.

There are currently four bodice designs available, with interchangeable sleeves, skirts, and collars to create a unique solo costume.

DO I NEED TO TRAVEL TO DERRY FOR A CONSULTATION?

No, we offer several ways to collaborate:

Online Consultation – Using video conferencing or email. We provide a detailed measurement guide for easy at-home measurements.

In-Store Consultation – Dancers are always welcome to visit our store in Derry.

Special Design Consultation Events – We hold these events throughout the year in Dublin, Galway, Manchester, and even in the USA.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FROM CONSULTATION TO COMPLETION?

Our standard turnaround time is 4-6 weeks, depending on the time of year.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

International Shipping:

USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand: £110

Domestic Shipping:

Republic of Ireland & UK: £30

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?

UK: 24-48 hours

USA: 3-5 days

Australia: 4-6 days

Canada: 4-6 days

ARE CRYSTALS INCLUDED?

No, crystals are priced separately from your dress or waistcoat. We will discuss your budget for crystals during the design consultation and advise you on pricing.

HOW MUCH IS A HEADPIECE?

Prices vary depending on the custom design. Headpieces and hairbands can be designed to match your solo costume upon request.

DO I RECEIVE MATCHING KICK PANTS?

Matching kick pants are available upon request.
